The location is cool, decent, calm. I like the cleanliness of my room. It is little smaller than what I expected but did suffice well. Room service is everyday without any failure. They changed the towels, door mat, comforter every day. There were one microwave, hair dryer, small refrigerator, TV (working good), a ceiling fan, coffee maker and various coffee and tea pouches available. Tea mugs and glasses were also kept on the table. The floor is woody and makes squeaky noise. Above all, I like the breakfast, dining area very much. It is the main asset of Comfort Inn Gaslamp Convention Center. They have scrambled eggs, sausage and a wide variety of bread, bun, toast. They have pan cake maker, just press the button and get hot pan cakes. There is a waffle maker and honey. Three to four varieties of fruit juices. Two varieties of coffee with creamers. Whole milk and reduced fat milk are kept in kettles. Even fresh fruits like, green apples, oranges and bananas are of great quality. You can also have packed cream buns of different flavors. Yogurts of a couple of flavors. around 4 types of cereals/corn flakes. We really enjoyed the breakfast through out our stay. It took away the headache of worrying for breakfast. It is good to get such a healthy breakfast. The timings are I guess, from 7 to 9.30 am (or from 7.30 am to 9.30 am. we are sure about 9.30 closing time.). A coffee table with de café coffee and regular coffee is kept just outside the kitchen all the time, which was great to have coffee in the late evenings. I should particularly mention Ms Scarlett who is a very hard working and sincere lady. She is one among the persons who takes care of the kitchen during the breakfast time. Scarlett wishes everyone with a happy smile and helps. Front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. I had to checking in the late night due to delayed flight, but I did not face any trouble in checking in. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It felt very safe and homely.

I was staying 8 nights in Confort Inn (Gaslamp) for a work conference. Staff were really friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The bed was made everyday and towels changed also daily (every other day would be also perfectly fine for me). The breakfast was rather simple (e.g. no vegetables such as slices of cucumber/ tomato, no fresh cheese or bread/ croissants) but I was able to bring some variation in it everyday: e.g. bagel with scrambled egg, waffle, cornflakes, toast with peanut butter and banana. The location was very good, as it was very close to convention center and a variety of restaurants.

I have been there with my family of 4 including kids. Great central position at Gaslamp quarter! 30 min away from the italian hood and the boardwalk with its attractions. Overall we felt really safe in San Diego. The hotel offers a good breakfast with different kind of dishes, and the whole personnel is really friendly and professional. The rooms have a confortable dimention for 4 with a nice bathroom. Everything always clean. The prize is a little bit higher than the other places, but it worth considering the whereabout and the overall cost of life in California.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, felt like they went above and beyond in helping us after checkout - storing our precious comic con merch (posters and prints) in a way so they didn't get bent along with storing our suitcases. (Note they don't have a ton of space to store, so we were only able to because we had few and small luggage) I also loved the breakfasts, perhaps I'm partial to the option to make waffles and pancakes :)

The location of this hotel is impeccable as is it in the Gaslamp Area near lots of restaurants and locations such as Petco Park and the Harbor. It also is within driving distance to many other attractions in San Diego. The breakfast choice were great and the staff was extremely friendly. Had a great stay here and would recommend to anyone traveling to San Diego!
